Thai teen terror Ratchanok ends Malaysian women’s singles hope

PETALING JAYA: The youngest world junior champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand continued to put Malaysia’s women’s singles back-up shuttlers to shame when she continued her march in the Malaysia International Challenge in Ipoh yesterday.

Yesterday, the 14-year-old shuttler tamed second seed Sannatasah Saniru 21-13, 21-15 in just 27 minutes to set up a semi-final meeting with compatriot Nitchaon Jindapol.
