MALAYSIA’S 16-year-old debutants Zulfadli Zulkifli and Sonia Cheah admit that playing in the World Junior Badminton Championships has been a real eye-opener and will do wonders for their future in the sport.
The youngsters, who are both the reigning national schools’ champions, received the toughest baptism possible after going up against, and losing to, the top seeds in the fourth round of their boys’ and girls’ singles events respectively yesterday.
