LONDON: England attempted to boost its chances of winning the right to host the 2018 World Cup with the announcement yesterday of an 11-member group dedicated to promoting the country’s diversity.
The group contains members of various pro-equality groups, including the head of the anti-racism ‘Kick It Out’ organisation and advocates for the rights of disabled and homosexual fans.
