SAN FRAN­CISCO: After Ryo Ishi­kawa was mauled by Tiger Woods in his President’s Cup debut, Inter­national captain Greg Norman told the Japanese teenager it was all part of golf.

The youngest player to compete in a Presidents Cup, 18-year-old Ishikawa, however, got a taste of the other side on Friday, teaming up with South Korean Yang Yong-eun for a commanding 4 and 3 victory over Americans Kenny Perry and Sean O’Hair.
