MISANO (San Marino): World champion Valentino Rossi, aiming to bounce back immediately from his fall at Indianaoplis last weekend, set the pace on home ground yesterday in opening practice for tomorrow’s San Marino Grand Prix.
The eight-time world champion Italian, who was born at nearby Tavullia and won the 2008 race here, edged Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo, clocking 1:35.304.
