ARI Vatanen made clear on Thursday that he is planning for a more democratic, transparent and leaner International Motorsports Federa-tion (FIA) if he wins next month’s election to replace current president Max Mosley.
The former world rally champion is standing against Frenchman Jean Todt, the former F1 boss of Ferrari, who outlined his goals in an earlier letter to FIA members. Vatanen unveiled his objectives in a manifesto sent to the presidents of member clubs.
