PETALING JAYA: Cody Crocker of the Motor Image Racing hung on to a comfortable overnight lead to clinch the Ancom Malaysian Rally championship title in Kota Tinggi yesterday.
Crocker clocked a total time of 3’16:22 in his Subaru Impreza WRX to finish ahead of Emma Gilmour of New Zealand, who crossed the line in 3’27:11. Indonesian driver Rifat Sungkar of the Pertamina Prima XP Rally finished 14:18 behind Gilmour for third place.
