PETALING JAYA: The trio of Azizul Hasni Awang, Mohd Edrus Yunus and Rizal Tisin stormed their way to a historic gold medal for Malaysia in the men’s team sprint final in the Asian Cycling Championships at the Tenggarong Velodrome in Kalimantan, Indonesia, last night.
Rizal was up to speed as the anchor rider to help the Malaysian combination overcome Iran with a time of 47.580 in the final on the opening day of the championships.
