LONDON: Tottenham striker Darren Bent is on the verge of signing for Sunderland after undergoing a medical with the Premier League club.
The Black Cats initially moved for Bent more than a week ago, but the deal seemed to have stalled as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy held out for a £16mil fee.
