KUALA LUMPUR: Long distance ace Melinda Kaur brought cheer to the Mini Olympic Games when she smashed her own national record for the third time in a month in the women’s 3,000m steeplechase event at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
With only three athletes competing, Melinda blazed the track in 11:04.14 to eclipse the national mark of 11:07.31 she did at the Taiwan Open last week.
