Tottenham's Bent apologizes for Twitter attack on Levy

LONDON: Tottenham striker Darren Bent has apologized for using the social-networking Web site Twitter to launch an attack on the club chairman over a proposed move to Sunderland.

Frustrated that a transfer to the Black Cats was dragging on, Bent used an expletive on Twitter to complain about Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and said he didn't want to move to Hull or Stoke, two other possible destinations.
