MADRID: Brazilian left back Maxwell has completed his move from Inter Milan to Barcelona, signing a four-year contract with an option for a further year, the Spanish club said on Friday.
Maxwell, who cost the Primera Liga and European champions €4.5mil (US$6.35mil) rising to a possible €5mil, passed a medical and has a buy-out clause worth €50mil, Barca said on their website (www.fcbarcelona.cat).
