KUALA LUMPUR: Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt of Australia and two current world top 10 ranked tennis players — Fernando Verdasco of Spain and Fernando Gonzalez of Chile — will headline the field for the inaugural Malaysian Open at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil here from Sept 26-Oct 4.
And the tournament on the ATP World Tour will carry a total prize money of US$947,750.
