PETALING JAYA: World Championship medallists Azizul Hasni Awang and Rizal Tisin have been given the green light to defend their titles in the Asian cycling championships, which will be held in Kalimantan from Aug 14-20.
Track chief coach John Beasley was in favour of letting the back-up riders carry the Malaysian challenge but he also left it to Azizul and Rizal to decide whether they wanted to compete in the championships.
