Relief all round as aquatics team get okay to go for world meet

PETALING JAYA: The trip to the world championships in Rome later this month is on for the Malaysian swimmers and divers.

The Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (Asum) had been put in a spot over the participation of the Malaysian squad for the world meet because of a directive from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education barring all their students from participating in overseas championships indefinitely due to the influenza A (H1N1) outbreak.
