Aussie organisers to limit number of crowd for Tiger’s return

SYDNEY: Attendance will be capped at 20,000 a day when the world’s number one golfer Tiger Woods plays in the Australian Masters in Melbourne in November, organisers said yesterday.

Woods will reportedly be paid A$3mil (US$2.3mil) to play at the Kingston Heath course — his first appearance in Australia in more than a decade — with the Victoria state government chipping in half.
