PETALING JAYA: Rifle shooters Nur Suryani Mohd Taibi and Shahera Rahim Raja capped impressive breakthrough performances for Malaysia with qualification for the final in the World Cup in Changwon, South Korea.
Suryani earned a place in the women’s 10m air rifle final on Saturday, chalking up the third highest score of 397 in the qualification rounds. China’s Xie Jieqiong and Korean Lee Da-hye were the top qualifiers, tied on 398.
