Cyclist Azizul rewarded with RM20,000 and a piece of land

PETALING JAYA: Cyclist Azizul Hasni Awang was rewarded with RM20,000 and a piece of land from the Teren­gganu govern­ment at a function on Sunday night for his achieve­ment in bagg­ing a silver medal in the World Track Cham­­pion­ships in Poland last month.

Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said gave away the monetary reward and he later announced that the state government would also give Azizul a piece of land in his birthplace, Dungun, to build a property.
