RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil playmaker Kaka will miss today’s World Cup qualifier in Ecuador because he has not fully recovered from an injury to his left foot, team doctor Jose Luis Runco said on Friday.
“We have spoken to (coach) Dunga ... and we’ve decided that, because he is still not in his best form and because he is still feeling some pain, he will stay in Brazil,” Runco told reporters at the team’s training camp in Teresopolis.
