WEMBLEY, England (AP): David Beckham made his record 109th appearance as an outfield player for England on Saturday, coming on as a second-half substitute and setting up a goal with a cross in the team's 4-0 friendly win over Slovakia.
After replacing Aaron Lennon at halftime to surpass Bobby Moore's record, the 33-year-old Beckham pulled the ball back in the 70th minute for Wayne Rooney to head in England's second goal at Wembley Stadium.
