DOHA, Qatar: Saudi Arabian clubs Al Ittihad and Ettifaq won while Suwon Samsung Bluewings' gamble on youth paid off with a 2-0 win over Singapore Armed Forces in the Asian Champions League on Wednesday.
Former two-time champion Al Ittihad put down Umm-Salal 3-1 in Doha and remained one of three teams with two wins from two matches, beside Suwon in Group G and defending champion Gamba Osaka in Group F.
