BEIJING (AP) - Joel Griffiths' first major assignment on his one-season loan with Beijing Guoan will be against former club the Newcastle Jets when the revamped Asian Champions League kicks off with 16 matches across the continent this week.
Griffiths will have friends and family on both sides of halfway, joining older brother Ryan at the Beijing club and facing twin brother, Adam, when the Australia's Jets travel to China for Tuesday's match at Workers' Stadium.
