RIYADH: The Romanian head coach of Saudi Arabia’s top soccer team was sacked and ordered out of the country on Saturday for an insult against the Saudi royal family a day after his team won the Crown Prince Cup.
Al-Hilal team announced that Cosmin Olaroiu had been fired, and the Saudi football federation ordered him to leave the country, one day after his team took the match in an 1-0 extra-time victory over Al-Shabab.
