PETALING JAYA: Selangor skipper Mohd Amri Yahyah scored a brace to lead the Red Giants to a 3-1 win over KL Plus FC in a Super League match at the KL Football Stadium in Cheras last night.
The former international was the toast of the team when he scored in the 28th and 50th minutes before team-mate Amirulhadi Zainal added the third goal in the 75th minute to put Selangor back at the top of the Super League standings on 15 points. National centre back Norhafiz Zamani Misbah reduced the deficit for the KL Plus in the 59th minute. Overnight leaders Negri Sembilan were knocked off the top perch after they went down 0-1 to Perlis at the Stadium Utama in Kangar. Ahmad Fakri Saarani was the hero for the Northern Lions with the winning goal in the 19th minute.
