MALACCA: The Malaysian Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU) official alleged to have been involved in a molest case in Taiwan last year has been dropped and would not be re-appointed.
In reversing the original decision by the union to reappoint the official, the Youth and Sport Ministry said it was attempting to safeguard the interest of national athletes, especially sportswomen.
