Pole vaulter Roslinda to continue training at home


KUALA LUMPUR: Pole vaulter Roslinda Samsu who was offered to go to the High Performance Training Centre (HPTC) in Formia, Italy, has to continue her training at home instead as the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) has decided to send a pole vault coach to the Bukit Jalil HPTC as requested by Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Bukit Jalil HPTC Director for Asia Mohd Musa Noor Mohd said Ismail wanted the Bukit Jalil HPTC to also have a pole vault coach besides focusing on the sprinters and hurdlers. — Bernama
