PETALING JAYA: Beginning next year, Malaysian drivers will have a choice between endurance and sprint races with the introduction of the Sepang 500km Race by promoters Sepang International Circuit (SIC) to complement the challenges provided by the 12-hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) race.
The SIC chairman, Datuk Mokhzani Tun Dr Mahathir, said that regulations for the 500km race, which would be held on Aug 1, would be released by the end of the month.
