Hockey: E&Y live up to their billing


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Ernst and Young and Pakistan’s Olympic Village Club lived up to their favourites’ tag in the opening matches of the Asian Champion Clubs (ACC) tournament at the KL Hockey Stadium here yesterday.

Ernst and Young overcame a determined National Juniors 5-2 in Group A while Olympic Village chalked up a 3-0 victory over Uzbekistan’s Nadijon in Group B. The other teams in the fray are Singapore Recreation Club and Thai Royal Air Force.
