KUALA LUMPUR: A national badminton academy will be set up in Cheras here and it will function as a centre of excellence for the sport, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak said.
He added that the RM24 million academy would be equipped with various facilities, including a hostel, gymnasium and 30 badminton courts.
