KUALA LUMPUR: The perception that Malaysian sports has lost its glory is not accurate and may only be due to the fact that the popular ones like football and hockey were in decline, said Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
“There are also other sports that are not so popular that Malaysia is good at, such as squash, karate, cycling and lawn bowling,” he said when responding to a question from Datuk Dr Mohd Shahrom Osman (BN-Lipis).
