GLASGOW: Scotland could be a candidate to stage the 2016 European Championship, but in association with another country, according to UEFA general secretary David Taylor, who is himself a Scot.
Taylor, who is a former Scottish Football Association chief executive, says a decision last month to increase the number of finalists from 16 to 24 for the event would aid Scotland’s chances of qualifying.
