Rossi won’t rush to wrap up title at jinxed Motegi

MOTEGI (Japan): Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi, facing “match point” to wrap his sixth world championship, cautions against haste at this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix on a track where he has had a run of bad luck.

The jovial Italian arrives with an 87-point lead and four races to go but he only needs to finish third to clinch the MotoGP title even if his nearest rival, reigning world champion and Ducati ace Casey Stoner, wins here.
