KUALA LUMPUR: Asia, Europe and Oceania have gained additional berths for the extended 20-team Junior World Cup which will be co-hosted by Malaysia and Singapore from June 7-2, next year.
In the previous world meet in 2005, there were only 16 teams for the Finals. This year, Asia’s alloted four slots was maintained but gained two additional berths to accommodate co-hosts Malaysia and Singapore.
