E&Y want change in playing format

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) champions Ernst and Young want the six teams in Division One to play each other three times instead of the usual home-and-away format.

Ernst and Young manager George Koshy, who will raise the issue with the Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) at the team managers’ meeting today, felt that the home-and-away format would only allow each team to play 10 matches in the preliminary round.
