SHAH ALAM: South Korea’s Bae Sang-moon and Kim Hyung-tae sparkled on the back nine to snatch a three-shot lead with a nine-under 63 on the first day of the Fortis International Challenge at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club yesterday.

Hong Kong’s Derek Fung and David Freeman, who got lost in traffic en route to the course yesterday, shot a six-under 66 to share second place with Singapore’s Mardan Mamat and Lam Chih Bing.
