ATP find no wrongdoing in Davydenko match

LONDON: The ATP, the governing body of men’s tennis, said yesterday they had found no evidence of betting violations by anyone involved in a controversial match between Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko and Argentina’s Martin Vassallo Arguello last year.

The Association of Tennis Professionals started an investigation after British online company Betfair reported irregular betting patterns during the match in Sopot, Poland on Aug 2, 2007.
