India fight back to down Malaysia Petronas by seven points


KUALA LUMPUR: Hosts Malaysia Petronas fell apart in the last two quarters to allow the Indian national team to snatch an 85-78 win in the Malaysia International Basketball Championship (MIBC) at the Maba Stadium here last night.

The Malaysians, who edged Taiwan’s Pure Youth and Construction side 109-104 in their opening match on Wednesday, led the jittery Indians 22-11 in the first quarter and then 32-28 in the next quarter.
