Thai Poom strolls to two-shot win in Johor Baru


JOHOR BARU: Fifteen-year old Poom Saksansin of Thailand shot a final-round two-over 74 for a two-shot win in the 100Plus Malaysian Junior Open at the Palm Resort Golf and Country Club here yesterday.

Going into the last day with a five-shot lead, Poom was never seriously threatened and he clinched the boys’ crown with a even-par total of 216.
