BAD TATZMANNSDORF (Austria): Winning the midfield battle will be crucial to Croatia’s hopes of beating Turkey in today’s Euro 2008 quarter-final clash in Vienna, forward Niko Kranjcar said on Wednesday.
“We have to string together as many passes as we can, keep possession and take control in midfield to overcome the Turks,” Kranjcar told a news conference at Croatia’s training base.
