HEATH Slocum gave himself a nice Father’s Day gift with a six-under 65 on Sunday, the best score in a US Open since Vijay Singh shot 63 in the second round in 2003.
“That was obviously one of the better rounds I’ve ever played,” Slocum said after making six birdies and no bogeys.
