SARAWAK’s Hii Siew Siew did not crack a record but she certainly deserved the spotlight for becoming the youngest female swimmer to win a Sukma gold medal at the Batu Buruk Swimming Complex yesterday.
The 14-year-old from Sibu won the women’s 200m butterfly in 2:20.73, finishing ahead of Perak’s Cheng Karmen (2:23.76) and Selangor’s Mohana Vijayan (2:25.02).
