PETALING JAYA: Selangor coach Dollah Salleh has defended his decision to recall four of his key players from a national camp.
The former international said that he had meant no disrespect to the FA of Malaysia (FAM) when he directed Mohd Safee Sali, Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Amirulhadi Zainal and Akmal Rizal Rakhli to skip the final session of a three-day clinic for strikers conducted by Liverpool legend Ian Rush at the National Sports Council (NSC) training ground in Bukit Jalil on Wednesday.
