GLASGOW: Administrators at crisis-club Gretna have sacked nine players from the staff of the Scottish Premier League basement side, it was announced on Wednesday.
Australian Erik Paartalu, David Bingham, Mark Birch, Mickael Buscher, Aurelien Collin, Chris Innes, Henry Makinwa, David Mathieson and Michael Tait have all left, prompting renewed speculation about Gretna’s ability to raise a team for their remaining league matches.
