ALOR STAR: National senior shuttler Yeoh Kay Bin almost paid the price for underestimating a young opponent in his opening Group D match in the Proton National Grand Prix Finals at the Kedah BA Hall here last night.
Kay Bin, who was expected to cruise to the final after being drawn in the opposite half from both Lee Chong Wei and Mohd Roslin Hashim, came up against a battling 18-year-old Teo Kok Siang and had a hard time winning the match 21-15, 20-22, 21-18.
