KUALA LUMPUR: The national men's recurve team indicated that they have the potential to spring a surprise in their Olympics debut in August by bagging gold in the first leg of the Asian Grand Prix in Bangkok last weekend.
The trio of Cheng Chu Sian, Mohd Marbawi Sulaiman and Wan Mohd Khalmizam Wan Aziz shocked favourites South Korea in the final, winning 220-214.
