PETALING JAYA: There was no joy for divers Rossharisham Roslan and Yeoh Ken Nee. The duo missed out on earning a place for Malaysia for the first time in the 3m springboard synchronised competition of the Beijing Olympics diving competition in the World Cup, which began in Beijing yesterday.
The duo, the Asian Games silver medallists in Doha two years ago, managed to qualify for the top 12 finalists in the morning after finishing 10th in the preliminaries.
