Junhui stuns world champ Higgins in first round

LONDON: China's Asian Games champion Ding Junhui pulled off a courageous 6-4 victory over world champion John Higgins here on Wednesday in the British Masters and lined up a mouth-watering quarter-final clash with Marco Fu of Hong Kong.

Junhui – who lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan in last year's final – came back from 3-1 down to take four of the next five frames and in sight of victory.
