LONDON: Top clubs will have to rethink their policy of signing African players if the Nations Cup continues to be staged in January, according to Chelsea manager Avram Grant.
Grant has lost four players to the African Nations Cup which runs from Jan 20 to Feb 10, with strikers Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou set to represent Ivory Coast, Michael Essien playing for Ghana and Nigeria fielding fellow midfielder John Obi Mikel.
