SYDNEY: Veteran Frenchman Fabrice Santoro revelled in the centre court atmosphere to dump out two-time champion James Blake in the opening round of the Sydney International here yesterday.
Santoro, who turned 35 last month and is entering his 20th year on the ATP Tour, upset the rhythm of the third-seeded American, winning 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 in 80 minutes.
