PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Golf Association’s (MGA) Kenneth de Silva gave himself an early Christmas present by winning the AmBank Group Cross Creek SportExcel International Junior Grand Finals, making it his second title in a row after bagging the AmBank Group Cross Creek SportExcel Malaysian Junior Grand Finals 2007 title on Tuesday.
In yesterday’s final at Rahman Putera Golf and Country Club in Sungai Buloh, Kenneth reeled off an eagle and three birdies to card a final round 71 for an overall three-day total of 214, five strokes ahead of second placed Wilson Choo of Bangi Golf Resort, who finished with a 219 score.
